Lately, voices have been heard that have not been heard here for decades. Some politicians are starting to threaten us with compulsory military service, for example, because they say we have to prepare for a war that could happen to us in the future. Well, the war is getting closer and closer to us, and who knows when and where it will end. So, a part of our population will probably be drafted into the army in time. And it will certainly happen to those who are not looking for something similar, who do not like handling weapons.
But we also have people who like weapons. And for whom even the hope of possible military service at some point in the future is not enough, if it happens and if it affects them at all. They would like to enjoy it today. Such people desire to own and use real firearms for their own pleasure. But they are often unlucky. The ownership of firearms in our country is very limited by law, and a number of regulations must be followed when using them, which is why there are many people who do not even have a firearms passport, let alone a real firearm.
And if such people still want to shoot a real firearm at least once? Then it looks pretty hopeless. But those who are looking for a solution usually figure out how to make their dreams come true. After all, it is not that impossible. Even people who do not have a license to do so in everyday life can shoot. They just have to know where.
And where can you find a place where every Czech and even English-speaking foreigners can shoot? Believe me, it is even in the middle of our country. There is a shooting range Prague there, where you just have to make an appointment and come. And they will lend you a gun that you like, instruct you on everything important, and then make sure that you can shoot targets safely.
So no gun lover needs to secretly hope for a war or at least conscription. None of this needs to happen to make the dreams of people who simply want to try out what shooting is really like come true.
